Terms of Service

Last updated: October 11, 2026

Plain-language summary

This summary is here to help you read the terms. It's not a replacement for them; if anything differs, the full terms below control.

  • What we sell: free illustrated travel guides, and paid custom digital trip plans ($39–$119+) built from your answers. We're not a travel agent and we don't book anything.
  • What you get: the plan items listed in Section 6, delivered by email and a private link, plus free edits (one, or two with Grand Journey and longer Plans).
  • Your part: check every detail (hours, prices, closures, permits, safety) with official sources before you book or go. You decide what you and your group do.
  • Refunds: full refund before we start your plan. After that, no change-of-mind refunds, but we'll fix or refund anything we got wrong.
  • Limits: our liability is generally capped at what you paid for the plan, with important exceptions the law requires (Section 14).
  • Disputes: email us first. If that doesn't work, small claims court or local courts. No forced arbitration and no class-action waiver.
  • Accounts: free and optional. Sign in with an emailed link, Google, or an optional password. You can save guides and pick trip interests, and delete your account anytime.
  • Privacy: we use your account info to run your account and show trips you might like. We don't send marketing email at this time, and we never sell your data. See the Privacy Policy.

Part A — The basics

1. Agreeing to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Earth Adventure Travel. When you buy a plan, you'll be asked to check a box agreeing to these Terms; you can't complete a purchase without doing so. When you create a free account, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you read our free guides or otherwise use the site, these Terms also apply to that use. Our Privacy Policy and any terms shown to you at checkout are part of this agreement. If you don't agree, please don't buy a plan or use the site.

2. Definitions

  • "We," "us," "our" — Earth Adventure Travel, the business described in Section 3.
  • "You," "your" — the person using the site or buying a plan.
  • "Site" — earthadventuretravels.com and any page, email, or link we send you.
  • "Guides" — the free travel guides published on the Site.
  • "Plan" — a paid custom digital trip plan, including its web page, PDF, and artwork.
  • "Intake" — the answers you give us when ordering a Plan.
  • "Content" — everything on the Site and in Guides and Plans: text, maps, artwork, design, and data.
  • "Account" — a free member account on the Site, used to save guides, set trip interests and, later, see your orders and plans.
  • "Member" — someone with an Account.
  • "Third-party providers" — businesses and organizations we don't own or control, such as parks, tour operators, hotels, restaurants, transportation companies, and booking sites.
  • "Your group" — the people you're planning for or traveling with.

3. Who we are

Earth Adventure Travel is a small independent business operated as a sole proprietorship in the State of Georgia, USA. Email: earthadventuretravel at mail.grokbot.com.

4. Eligibility and age

You must be 18 or older to create an Account or buy a Plan; you confirm this when you sign up and again at checkout. You must also be able to form a binding contract and not be barred from receiving our services under U.S. law (including U.S. sanctions rules). Accounts aren't available to anyone under 18, and our Site isn't directed to children; we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn an Account belongs to someone under 18, we'll close it. Details you give about children in your group are used only to build your Plan.

Part B — Our products

5. What we offer, and what we are not

  • Free Guides. Illustrated guides with day-by-day ideas, free to read.
  • Custom Plans (paid). A personalized digital trip plan built from your Intake.

We are not a travel agent, tour operator, or seller of travel. We don't book, sell, or reserve flights, lodging, tours, tickets, or anything else, and we don't take payment for any third-party service. Any booking you make is directly between you and that provider, under their terms and their cancellation policies.

6. Custom trip plans

Tiers and prices (USD):

  • Getaway, 1–3 days: $39
  • Journey, 4–8 days: $69
  • Grand Journey, 9–14 days: $119
  • 15–21 days: $119 plus $8 for each day over 14

Every Plan includes: custom painted graphics, a timed day-by-day plan, integrated tour and activity suggestions, map links, a booking checklist, a packing list, a phone-friendly page plus a PDF, and free edits (one for Getaway and Journey, two for Grand Journey and longer Plans).

Painted cover with names: included with Grand Journey and longer Plans; available as an add-on for other tiers.

Your Intake. Your Plan is built from what you tell us (dates, travelers, interests, and any health or mobility limits you choose to share). Please give accurate, complete details. We aren't responsible for a Plan that doesn't fit because information you gave was missing or wrong. Please don't share sensitive medical details beyond what's needed for planning.

What we promise. We promise to deliver the Plan you purchased, with the items listed above, built from your Intake, with reasonable care. That's the full scope of our service. We don't take on duties beyond it, such as booking, monitoring conditions during your trip, or supervising activities.

Delivery. We deliver your Plan by email to the address you give at checkout, and through a private web page link. Delivery times are estimates; if we're going to miss one, we'll tell you, and you may cancel for a full refund before delivery. We keep a record of delivery. Please check your spam folder and tell us if your Plan hasn't arrived.

Your free edits. Getaway and Journey Plans include one round of revisions, and Grand Journey and longer Plans include two, within the scope of your original order (for example, swapping an activity or adjusting pacing), requested within 30 days of delivery. A new destination, different dates, or a longer trip is a new Plan.

Private links. Your Plan link is private to you. Anyone with the link can view it, so share it only with your group.

Our right to decline. We may decline or cancel an order before we start work (for example, a pricing error, a suspected fraudulent payment, or a trip we can't responsibly plan). If we do, we'll refund you in full.

7. Payment, pricing and taxes

Payments are processed by Stripe through its hosted checkout, under Stripe's own terms. We never see or store your full card details. The full price, including any add-ons and tax, is shown before you pay. Sales tax is added where the law requires it. Prices may change over time, but a price change never affects a Plan you've already bought. If we list a price in error, we'll contact you and offer a full refund rather than charge more.

8. Cancellations and refunds

Our refund policy, in short: full refund before we start your Plan; after delivery, no refund except to fix our mistakes. This policy is also shown at checkout before you pay.

  • Before we start building your Plan, you can cancel for a full refund. Just email us.
  • Once we've started, and after your Plan has been delivered, it isn't refundable, because it's a personalized digital product made for you.
  • If something goes wrong on our side: if your Plan isn't delivered, or it's materially different from what you ordered (for example, the wrong destination or tier, or major included items missing), tell us within 30 days of your order and we'll fix it or redo it. If we can't make it right, we'll refund you.
  • Trip changes are on you. If your trip is cancelled or changed for personal reasons, weather, closures, or travel restrictions after delivery, the Plan isn't refundable, but we're happy to discuss a discounted new Plan.
  • Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 30 days, usually much sooner.

Nothing in this section limits any refund right you have under applicable law. Please contact us before filing a chargeback; we'll respond within 2 business days and would much rather solve it directly.

Part C — Using our content safely

9. How our content is made

Our Guides and Plans are created with the help of AI tools, including the painted artwork and parts of the written plans, and are checked by our own fact-review process (see our How We Verify page). Even so, hours, prices, closures, permits, road and trail conditions, and rules change, sometimes without notice, and AI-assisted content can contain mistakes. Artwork is illustrative and may not show a place exactly as it looks. We can miss things. If you spot something outdated, tell us and we'll look into it.

10. Your responsibility to verify

You agree that you alone are responsible for checking and confirming all information, including hours, prices, closures, permits, reservations, safety conditions, and availability, with official sources and providers before you rely on it. All Guides and Plans are provided for reference and entertainment purposes only; they are a starting point, not a guarantee or professional advice. Check current alerts from park services, weather services, and government travel advisories before and during your trip. Travel documents, visas, health requirements, insurance, and vehicle suitability are your responsibility.

11. Outdoor activities and your own risk

Travel and outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, boating, wildlife viewing, and driving remote roads carry real risks, including injury, illness, getting lost, extreme weather, and death. These risks exist no matter what any guide says. You decide what you and your group do, and you're responsible for judging your own fitness, skills, gear, and conditions on the day. Follow posted rules and ranger and official guidance, and turn back when in doubt. Our Content isn't medical advice; ask a qualified professional if you have health questions about an activity. You understand and accept the inherent risks of the trips and activities you choose to do. If you're planning for others (for example, family members or children), you're responsible for making these decisions for them and for sharing the safety information with them.

12. Third parties, bookings and affiliate links

Our Guides and Plans mention and link to third-party providers. We don't own or control them, and a mention or link isn't an endorsement or guarantee. We're not responsible for their services, prices, availability, safety, conduct, or policies, and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

Maps and directions links (for example, Google Maps) are provided by those services under their terms and may be inaccurate; follow road signs and official closures.

Affiliate disclosure: some links are affiliate links. If you book or buy through them, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Pages with affiliate links say so near the links. Commissions don't decide what we include in a Plan.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

Other than our promise in Section 6 to deliver what you bought, and to the fullest extent the law allows:

  • Content. Guides and Plans are provided "as is," for reference and entertainment purposes only. We don't promise that any information is complete, current, or error-free, or that any place, business, or activity will be open, available, safe, or suitable for you.
  • The Site. We don't promise the Site will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors or harmful code.
  • Implied warranties. We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Some states don't allow these disclaimers, so some may not apply to you.

14. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • We aren't liable for decisions or actions taken outside the scope of delivering the specific Plan you purchased, including what you book, where you go, and what you do.
  • We aren't liable for losses caused by third-party providers, weather, natural events, closures, or travel disruptions, or for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses such as missed bookings, lost deposits, or extra travel costs.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to a Plan or the Site is limited to the amount you paid us for that Plan (or $50 if the claim relates to a free Guide).

What these limits don't cover. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that can't legally be limited, including liability for our fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence where the law doesn't allow it to be limited, or your rights under consumer-protection laws that can't be waived. Some states don't allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

15. Indemnity

If you use our Content in a way these Terms don't allow, break these Terms, or someone makes a claim against us because of activities you or your group chose to do, you agree to cover our reasonable costs (including reasonable legal fees) of that claim, to the extent the law allows. This doesn't apply to claims caused by our own fault. We'll tell you promptly about any such claim and let you participate in handling it.

Part E — Content and conduct

16. Our content and your license

The Content, artwork, text, design, and our name and logo belong to Earth Adventure Travel or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to view Guides and to use your Plan for your own personal, non-commercial trip planning, including printing it and sharing it with your group. You may not resell, republish, redistribute, or sublicense Content, remove copyright notices, use our name or logo without permission, or use Content to build a competing product. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

17. Information you give us

You keep ownership of your Intake answers and anything you send us (such as photos or names for a painted cover). You give us permission to use them only to create, deliver, revise, and support your Plan and as described in our Privacy Policy. We won't publish your Plan, names, or photos, or use them in marketing, without your separate permission. You confirm that you have the right to share what you send us, including other travelers' details and any photos. This also applies to anything you add to your Account, such as saved guides, trip interests and photos.

17A. Your account

  1. Free and optional. You don't need an Account to read Guides.
  2. Sign-in. By default you sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. You can also use Google, or set an optional password on your account page. Keep your email account and any password secure, because anyone who can read your email or knows your password can sign in as you. You stay signed in on a device until you sign out. Tell us right away if you think someone has accessed your Account.
  3. Accurate email. Use an email address you own and can receive mail at. One person per Account; don't create accounts for others without their permission, or create accounts automatically.
  4. What you store. Saved guides, trip interests and any notes or photos you add are yours. You give us permission to store and display them to you and to use them as described in the Privacy Policy, including to personalize your profile.
  5. Features may change. Saved lists, recommendations and profile features are provided as-is and may change. Recommendations are suggestions, not advice; Section 10 (verify everything) still applies.
  6. Deleting your account. You can delete your Account at any time from the Account page. Deletion removes your saved guides and preferences and can't be undone. Order and payment records are kept in anonymized form (unlinked from your account) as the Privacy Policy describes, for tax and accounting. Deleting your Account doesn't cancel or refund a Plan you've already received, and you keep the right to your Plan link as described in Section 24.

18. Feedback

If you send ideas or suggestions about our service, we may use them to improve it without owing you anything. This doesn't give us rights to your personal information or your Plan.

19. Acceptable use

Please don't:

  • break the law using the Site, or use it to harm, harass, or defraud anyone;
  • submit false information or someone else's payment details;
  • scrape, crawl, or bulk-copy our Content, or use it to train, fine-tune, or feed any AI or machine-learning system, without our written permission;
  • interfere with the Site's security or operation, probe for vulnerabilities, or overload it;
  • copy, frame, or mirror our pages or design;
  • submit content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights;
  • create Accounts with false or someone else's email, or in bulk or by automated means;
  • share sign-in links, or access or try to access someone else's Account or data;
  • abuse sign-up, saving or email features (for example, to send spam or overload them); or
  • upload photos or text you don't have the right to share, or that show other people without their permission.

20. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

We respect others' intellectual property. If you believe Content on our Site infringes your copyright, email us with: your contact details; the work you claim is infringed; where the material appears on our Site; a statement of your good-faith belief that the use isn't authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you're authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature (see 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3)). If material you sent us was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice.

Part F — Running the service

21. Electronic communications

By buying a Plan, you agree that we may send you order confirmations, your Plan, receipts, and notices about these Terms by email, and that these electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that they be in writing. Keep a copy for your records.

Account emails. By creating an Account, you agree we can email you sign-in links, password resets and important notices about your Account, orders, and these Terms. These aren't marketing.

Marketing emails. We don't send marketing email at this time.

22. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices. It's linked in every Site footer. We don't sell your personal information. It explains how we handle Account data (email, saved guides, trip interests, preferences), analytics, and, when available, orders and payments through Stripe.

23. Accessibility

We want our Site and Plans to be usable by everyone. If you have trouble accessing any part of the Site or your Plan, email us and we'll provide the information in another format where we reasonably can.

24. Changes to the service

We may update, change, or stop offering parts of the Site or our Guides at any time. If we stop offering a Plan you've paid for but haven't received, we'll refund you in full. Plans you've already received are yours to keep; we'll keep your Plan link working for at least 12 months after delivery, and we recommend saving the PDF.

25. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Site and delete your Account at any time (Section 17A).

We may suspend or close an Account, or block access to the Site, if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, misuse our Content, act fraudulently, or if we're required to by law. Where reasonable we'll tell you why by email first and give you a chance to fix it, unless doing so would create a security or legal risk. If we ever decide to remove long-inactive Accounts, we'll email you at least 30 days in advance. If we close your Account for any reason other than your breach before delivering a Plan you paid for, we'll refund you. If we stop offering Accounts entirely, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to get a copy of your saved guides.

Sections that by their nature should continue after these Terms end (including Sections 10–11, 13–16, 18–20 and 27–30) survive.

26. Events beyond our control

We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, outages of internet, hosting, email, or payment services, government actions, or illness. If such an event delays your Plan significantly, you may cancel for a full refund before delivery.

Part G — Disputes and general terms

27. Resolving disputes

Please email us first; most problems can be fixed quickly. If we can't resolve it within 30 days, either of us may bring the dispute in small claims court where you live, or in the state or federal courts located in Georgia. There is no arbitration clause or class-action waiver in these Terms. Nothing here stops you from contacting a government consumer-protection agency.

28. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This doesn't take away any protection you have under the consumer-protection or privacy laws of the place where you live.

29. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the new version with a new "Last updated" date and version number, and for significant changes we'll also note it on the Site. Changes apply only going forward and never change the terms of a Plan you already bought; the version you agreed to at checkout applies to that order. If you buy again, you'll be asked to agree to the version then in effect. If you have an Account, we'll also email you about material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use your Account after that means you accept the change; if you don't, you can delete your Account.

30. General terms

  • Severability. If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, that part will be limited or removed only as much as needed, and the rest stays in effect.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and anything shown to you at checkout are the whole agreement between us about the Site and your Plan.
  • No waiver. If we don't enforce a part of these Terms right away, we can still enforce it later.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours to a successor business (for example, if we form an LLC or sell the business), and your rights under these Terms will continue.
  • Relationship. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, employment, agency, or fiduciary relationship between us.
  • No third-party beneficiaries. Only you and we can enforce these Terms.
  • Headings and examples. Headings, the summary, and examples are for convenience; "including" means "including without limitation."
  • Notices. We'll send notices to the email you gave us; you can send notices to the email in Section 32.
  • Language. If we provide a translation, the English version controls.

31. Notice to California residents

Under California Civil Code §1789.3, California users may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing or by phone at (800) 952-5210.
