Our promise to you
Every guide on this site carries a "Last verified" date. That's not decoration — it's us telling you exactly when someone last checked that the prices are right, the links work, and the booking rules haven't changed.
Once a month, we go through every guide — all of them — and check the stuff that matters when you're planning a trip. Not a quick skim. The real details.
Park passes, museum tickets, transit fares, tour costs — all re-checked against whoever actually sells them. If a price moved, we update it. Simple as that.
Official sites redesign constantly. A link that worked in September might 404 in October. We open them all and fix what's broken.
Timed entry systems, reservation windows, seasonal closures, closed days — the unglamorous stuff that ruins trips when it's wrong. We verify it all.
If a reference has gone stale, paywalled, or just isn't as good as something else now, we swap it out. The research behind each guide should be as current as the guide itself.
The "Last verified" stamp goes on after the work is done, not before. If it says November, someone did this whole list in November.
"We'd rather you trust the date on the page than wonder if anyone's actually maintaining this thing. So we maintain it."
When you see "Last verified: November 2026" at the top of a guide, it means every price, link, hour, and booking detail on that page was checked during our November pass. Not when the guide was written — when it was last confirmed accurate.
That's the whole point. The internet is full of travel guides from 2019 pretending they're current. We'd rather be the site that tells you exactly how fresh the information is.
We'd genuinely rather hear it from you than let a wrong price sit for a month. Drop us a line and we'll fix it — in the next monthly pass, or sooner if it's urgent.
We don't auto-refresh dates. We don't pull prices from aggregators and hope for the best. If the date says November, the work happened in November. That's the deal.
